My name is Gabriel Ketcham, I'm from Independence, Minnesota. I attended high school at Orono High School in Long Lake, MN. After graduating in 2020, I joined the Air National Guard as a crew chief (or aircraft mechanic). After a year of full-time service and work, I began studying architecture at North Dakota State University.  

 

 

From a very young age I loved art. I started drawing animals that I saw on tv, and landscapes I imagined in my own mind. Though I loved art, I viewed it as a hobby rather than a skill I could use as a career. While in high school a family member asked if I had ever heard of architecture. She referred me to a friend who owned his own firm and helped me set up a job shadow.  Ever since then architecture has been my passion. Studying at North Dakota State University I have learned more than I could ever have imagined, and I have loved every second of it. I am looking forward to furthering my knowledge within the field and continuing to do what I love.
